October Destination Wellness Passport digital treat bag graphic with seasonal surprises
Halloween-themed Stretch Spell graphic showing a seated skeleton with instructions for the Chair Anchor stretch, a seated side-body stretch using one hand anchored under the chair.

This isn’t your standard seated side bend. The trick is in the anchor. Hook one hand under the side of your chair before you reach the opposite arm overhead and lean away.

That anchored hand helps keep the bottom shoulder from creeping up with you, which lets the stretch travel more through your ribs and side body instead of bunching into your neck and shoulder.

Take 3 slow breaths there, then switch sides. Keep it comfortable and easy. Think gentle opening, not yanking. The treat is how you’ll feel after! :)

Something for Your Body

Halloween-themed recipe graphic for The After-Treat Brew, a warm chamomile tea with fresh ginger, cinnamon, lemon, and optional honey.

This cozy little brew is for the aftermath of too many Halloween treats and seasonal favorites. No shame, we’ve all been there ;)

Fresh ginger contains naturally occurring compounds called gingerols and shogaols, which are part of what gives ginger its anti nausea properties and may help support normal stomach emptying when you feel overly full.

Chamomile contains apigenin and other flavonoids, plant compounds that contribute to its calming effects and its long history of use as a soothing digestive tea.

Cinnamon brings in polyphenols and aromatic compounds, while lemon adds brightness and a little vitamin C. Honey is optional, but it softens the ginger and rounds everything out.

The names may sound a little potion-like, but they’re simply some of the useful compounds plants make naturally.

Consider it a little gratitude for the good times had, and a little kindness for your stomach afterward!

Something to sip

Halloween-themed playlist graphic for “Sounds From the Other Side,” a 30-minute spooky-season movement mix featuring recognizable October songs arranged to build in energy and then cool back down.

A little treat for your ears.

We curated this 30-minute spooky-season playlist by tempo, starting slower and building into higher-energy tracks before winding back down.

You know we love setting a scene, so play it on a walk, while you’re getting ready, cooking dinner, or anytime you want things to feel a little more October.

Something to Listen To

Halloween-themed “A Little Cackle” graphic with three short seasonal jokes about a ghost, a witch, and a broom, encouraging readers to share a laugh.

A good laugh can do more than lift your mood. It can help your body shift out of a stress response and give your nervous system a brief reset.

So consider these little jokes part of the treat bag too. Send one to someone and pass the cackle along!
